Bag Break In Method
The method we use at Stovations Cornhole is the vinegar soak. We find this to be both effective and a great bang for the buck.
Conditioners, softeners and commercial solutions can over soften some materials, shortening the life of the bag. Use such products at your own risk.
1) Place bags in a container big enough to hold your bags fully submerged in water. We use a 3 gallon bucket, which is larger enough to hold 2 sets at a time.
2) Fill with enough warm water to cover bags.
3) Add 1-2 cups of white distilled vinegar and mix with water. *We use more vinegar when doing multiple sets at a time or when breaking bags with thicker slow sides like Majestic, Impostor, and Vigilante. We use less vinegar when breaking in Elusive.
4) Allow bags to soak for at least an hour.
5) After allowing to soak, rinse thoroughly! *This step is key as you don’t want to leave any vinegar in the material. We run them under warm tap water for a couple minutes each, massaging them as they rinse.
6) Once rinsed, squeeze bags to remove any excess water.
7) Dry using the dryer with NO heat along with some towels. This usually takes about an hour for bags to be completely dry.
