Bag Selection Guide
How to determine what bags are right for you.
Like in golf or bowling you may need more than one set of bags depending on playing conditions. All of our bags are built 2 sided, each side being a different speed when they hit the board. Our bags are filled with an all weather resin that won't degrade or cover the boards in dust, and built to professional specs with approval by the American Cornhole Organization. Not just approved but have also been used to win at ACO Major tournaments.
Speeds:
If they boards are slick or you throw hard, you will likely want a slower (lower number) set of bags. Slower bags can also be used to play a "dirty" game laying blocks your opponent will have to get around or push through. Faster bags are good for when the boards are slow or you have a softer throw. They are also good if you want to just run bags in the hole. Faster bags tend to have more flop and are more hole friendly.
Fill:
There are many different types of fill out there. Flat, round, cylindrical, micro, all changing the way the bag react when it hits the board. In many of our bags, we blend these types to create bags that are unique and high performance. Flat fills help the bag land soft and slide straight. Round fills are more bouncy and give the bag more action to control, cut, roll, and flop shots. Round fill also aids in hole friendliness as the resin doesn't settle as much when the bag is hanging partly in the hole.
Flop:
Flop measures how loosely a Cornhole bag conforms to the board and hand. A lower rating means a fuller, more structured bag, while a higher rating indicates a softer, more flexible bag. Each bag’s flop rating helps players find the perfect balance of control, flexibility, and play style preference.
•1/5 (Very Full, Minimal Flop): Firm and holds its shape, barely flexing in hand or on the board. Best for players who prefer a consistent grip and structured landing.
•2/5 (Slight Flop): Some give when held, but still maintains its form well. Lands with a controlled, predictable feel.
•3/5 (Moderate Flop): Balanced feel—molds to the hand but retains enough shape to provide a stable grip. Offers a mix of structure and flexibility.
•4/5 (Floppy): Noticeably soft with a looser feel. Spreads out more on impact, allowing for increased hole grip and easier collecting of bags.
•5/5 (Extremely Floppy): Very loose and flexible, fully conforming to the board and hand. Ideal for players who want maximum forgiveness on landings and easy “grab” potential.
